February 19, 2008 As we approach our 5th year anniversary we are looking for ideas from our clients and the community on ways to celebrate. One great suggestion has been to do 5 good deeds in the community and another was to donate 5 computers to a local youth group. What do you think? Let us know if you have any other great ideas.
November 15, 2007 The results of the 2007 Department of Defense's Cyber Crime Center (DC3) Digital Forensics Challenge are in. Unfortunately team COLLECTECH did not place in the top 5 but we do want to send out heartfelt congratulations to team Hacker Factor who placed 1st in the civilian category and 3rd overall. I'd think all of the participants would agree...this had to have been one of the toughest forensic challenges ever devised. We are looking forward to see what the good folks over at DC3 can come up with for next year.
October 31, 2007 Happy Halloween to all the geeks and ghouls. Drop by for a quick trick or treat...we are handing out candy and DRAM chips this year. Don't forget to come dressed as your favorite malware.
September 17, 2007 We would like to announce the latest member of our family (or in this case the latest bit of hardware). Say hello to our little friend...a portable forensic computer system that hides itself in a suitcase. Sure, we already have a few other portable forensic units but now we can be in three places at once. On-site forensic analysis and drive acquisitions for everyone!
July 31, 2007 We've moved! Well almost. We just signed a new lease for office space in a great location just off of Scott Boulevard and Chapel Hill Road in the Village of Cherry Hill. Restaurants, shops, and offices - oh my!
April 23, 2007 COLLECTECH LLC has taken over the reigns of the Computer Forensics Volunteer Project. We would like to send a sincere thank you to Ms. Carol Stimmel for all the great work she has done and we wish her the very best in her current and future endeavors. The computer forensics community will miss you. Keep an eye out for the new website and international membership drive from the CFVP version 2.0 very soon.

Our Computer Forensic Science Laboratory provides unbiased digital forensic analysis and legal support services to individuals and businesses who may find themselves as defendants or plaintiffs in a court of law. We have the expertise to uncover and analyze evidence buried deep within electronic data which can prove vital in criminal cases, civil disputes, and employment proceedings. As the only privately funded Computer Forensic Science Laboratory in the State of Missouri run by a Board Certified Computer Examiner and member of the American College of Forensic Examiners Computer Forensics Division we also make ourselves available to help Public Defenders Offices, Governmental, and Law Enforcement agencies that do not have the manpower, funding, or capabilities to perform their own computer forensics investigations. |
