Founded in 2003, COLLECTECH LLC continues to be the only privately run Computer Forensic Science Laboratory in the Mid-Missouri area providing timely and cost effective digital forensic analysis to the public at large.

Our company remains dedicated to providing assistance to individuals, families, corporations, and law enforcement agencies with the seizure of digital evidence and the impartial and objective analysis and presentation of digital evidence using the best available tools and procedures available.

MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of COLLECTECH LLC is to assist our clients and the judicial system through the timely collection and scientific examination of digital evidence and the clear, irrefutable, objective interpretation of analytical findings. Our dedicated staff will always maintain excellence in this endeavor and will continually improve their knowledge, skills, and abilities through methods development, continuing education, research, and training.

VALUES STATEMENT

All forensic analysis will be performed in a timely manner and will be accurate with a reasonable degree of scientific certainty. Each analysis will be made by highly-trained and well-equipped digital forensics examiners using the best available technology. The assurance of quality analysis and work product is our most important function.

All analyses will be performed with unwavering ethics and integrity in the pursuit of truth never forgetting that individual lives are affected by our work.

We will always accept cases based strictly on the case's merit and will never refuse to any accept assignments based on the client's race, gender, creed, color, religion, political or sexual orientation, or the inability to pay.

Code of Professional Conduct

All employees, personnel, staff, and contractors:

• shall, at all times, demonstrate a commitment to professionalism and diligence in the performance of his or her duties.
• shall not engage in any illegal or unethical conduct, or any activity which would constitute a conflict of interest.
• shall, at all times, exhibit the highest level of integrity in the performance of all professional assignments and will accept only assignments for which there is reasonable expectation that the assignment will be completed with professional competence.
• will comply with lawful orders of the courts and will testify to matters truthfully and without bias or prejudice.
• will obtain evidence or other documentation to establish a reasonable basis for any opinion rendered. No opinion shall be expressed regarding the guilt or innocence of any person or party.
• shall not reveal any confidential information obtained during a professional engagement without proper authorization.
• will reveal all material matters discovered during the course of an examination which, if omitted, could cause a distortion of the facts.
